We're Foster parents

Not really, but we are fostering some teacup chihuahua pups for the APL for 6-8 weeks. There was apparently some big puppymill bust in the Cleveland area, and these two siblings are 6 weeks and no mama, which brings us in as foster parents to get them up to age and weight to be spayed, neutered , then adopted to their forever families. It has actually been a fun project for the kids and I. We are enjoying it too. The cat on the other hand is a bit confused, i believe she thought they were mice and stuck her paw out to check them out, they promptly charged her and started barking. she has been wandering around confused ever since.

Whats up.

We are doing well here. Abel made the front page of the paper during the annual Easter Egg Hunt. He was so cute, once he realized there was candy in the eggs, he went crazy. My mom had to take the candy off of him since he starts to act like a fein and get crazy, he will keep eating until he pukes so you have to give him a limit. We are really looking forward to some warmer weather around here. The winters just seem to get harder to withstand year after year. But its Cleveland. I'm excited Spring Break officially started today for the older kiddos so lots of fun in the next week planned. Today we just hung out at the pool at the Rec center and swam alot.

Update

Its been awhile since I have posted but boy have we been busy around here. Just this week Lillian became very ill and when I took her to the pediatrician they said it was pneumonia and sent us home with antibiotics, by the next evening she was not looking good and struggling to breathe. We went to the ER and she was immediatly admitted and put on continuous oxygen, more heavy duty antibiotics and respiratory treatments. I stayed the next 2 days in the hospital with her without any sleep whatsoever and I am sure glad to be home. She is getting better now, no more fevers. but we are handling her with kid gloves. It was scary. Abel who caught her bug as well now has croup, Frank is sick and so is Wesleigh. Needless to say I am a very busy mom cause everyone wants me to do something for them and comfort them now.

Chineese New Year... uhhh I mean Tet

So to celebrate Tet we need to celebrate with the Chinese in the Cleveland area. The Vietnameese really do not have too much available for the public. SO we went out to a great Chinese Rest. and had an awesome time with great food and fun dragons, and even some firecrackers.

Frozen

So we have been comming up with creative wys to stay entertained when it is soooo cold out, Lake Erie has officially frozen over, so if we were inclined we could walk to Cananda, Trust me we are not that inclined. Today no school since we got alot of snow dumped on us last night and the plows just can't keep up. They are expecting another 4-8 inches today. So cabin fever has officially arrived. I did take the little ones to Lake Erie which is normally a 3 minute walk. We bundled in our snow gear , thought we would sled but the winds off the Lake were too much to bear even our poodle would not come out of my coat so we turned around and went home for warm refreshment. I took all the kids to a bowling alley on Monday when there was no sshool
to help out with boredom. What to do today????
