whew.. busy

We have been doing well here. Lots to look forward to. Our oldest daughter Lindsay's wedding is in 4 weeks. So there is a torrent of activity getting things ready for the big event. The funny thing about a large family is everyone plays a part and organizing all those kiddos to their responsibilities is no easy task. Abel is the ring bearer, pray to god he doesn't loose the rings. Lillian is the flower girl. I don't know how on earth I will keep her hair styled and dress neat for the ceremony. May wrap her in bubble wrap? The older girls are bridesmaids. Just try keeping them from starting some kind of brawl with each other over " she looked at me wrong " Teen age angst.
Lillian is 14 weeks into treatment and handling it well. She is usually pretty sick on Fridays though , never sleeps after her injections on Thursday night.. so we lay low on Fridays. Treatment is working and we are looking forward to her yearly follow up to Vietnam to report the word CURE!!!!!
Abel is such a smart boy . He loves to learn. We went to the upgraded planetarium yesterday and he is quick to shout out the names of constellations and talk about the milky way galaxy. This is impressive to me because I don't know as many constellations as him.. he listens so well. We are going to our cabin this week on vacation so I am praying that Abel will catch his first fish. We are catch and release kindof people but it will still be a lot of fun. Abel is also thourouhly enjoying the new peddle boat we bought for the kids this summer. My hubby and I couldn't see anyway we could get our pontoon boat up and running this year so a little peddle power and the kids are having a blast.
