Update

Its been awhile since I have posted but boy have we been busy around here. Just this week Lillian became very ill and when I took her to the pediatrician they said it was pneumonia and sent us home with antibiotics, by the next evening she was not looking good and struggling to breathe. We went to the ER and she was immediatly admitted and put on continuous oxygen, more heavy duty antibiotics and respiratory treatments. I stayed the next 2 days in the hospital with her without any sleep whatsoever and I am sure glad to be home. She is getting better now, no more fevers. but we are handling her with kid gloves. It was scary. Abel who caught her bug as well now has croup, Frank is sick and so is Wesleigh. Needless to say I am a very busy mom cause everyone wants me to do something for them and comfort them now.

Chineese New Year... uhhh I mean Tet

So to celebrate Tet we need to celebrate with the Chinese in the Cleveland area. The Vietnameese really do not have too much available for the public. SO we went out to a great Chinese Rest. and had an awesome time with great food and fun dragons, and even some firecrackers.

Frozen

So we have been comming up with creative wys to stay entertained when it is soooo cold out, Lake Erie has officially frozen over, so if we were inclined we could walk to Cananda, Trust me we are not that inclined. Today no school since we got alot of snow dumped on us last night and the plows just can't keep up. They are expecting another 4-8 inches today. So cabin fever has officially arrived. I did take the little ones to Lake Erie which is normally a 3 minute walk. We bundled in our snow gear , thought we would sled but the winds off the Lake were too much to bear even our poodle would not come out of my coat so we turned around and went home for warm refreshment. I took all the kids to a bowling alley on Monday when there was no sshool
to help out with boredom. What to do today????

pics or readoption

Officially on his way to US citizenship

So a busy household here the last 2 weeks. We first went to the zoo on New Years eve Day for their celebration of Noon Years Eve and the ball drop at 12 noon. It was very cold actually -3 degrees without windchill. The kids danced around to Radio Disney's DJ and we won some prizes, watched the ball drop and we went to the Rain Forest for lunch and some tropical 83 degree fun. I don't think Abel could understand why we were hanging outside in our ski gear just to watch a ball fall out of the sky and when I tried to explain it to him he just seemed confused. actually since my tears were freezing to my face I was confused as well:)

On Jan 7th we celebrated Ganna, which is Ethiopian Orthodox Christmas with our small but growing Northeast Ohio Ethiopian adoptees group. We went to the local Ethiopian Rest. and a great time was had by all. We just recieved our 4th new member , a very young 6 month boy. Soooo cute. So now a total of 3 boys and one little girl.

Then today we went to court to readopt Abel. it went very well, and was a very easy process. He is now on his way to becomming a full fledged US citizen. They also changed his age today to the much more acurate 2 and a half and not almost 4 year old. So now I can get busy sending court orders to insurance companies, etc. Adoption process almost complete. Whew. I am going to post lots of pics of the last few weeks.

My little elves

Well Xmas is over and on to New Years. We had a great holiday and I will include some cute pics of the kids on Christmas eve and day. we were blessed with my Uncle Joe comming to visit and play Santa for us again this year. lilly loved it , Abel hid the entire time behind Grandma. Maybe next year for him. we were going to attempt to go to Christmas eve services but then it started with me a horrible case of the stomach flu. Needless to say we all stayed in the house for like 4 days as it traveled through the entire family. Yuck.

random pics

Here are some random pics of the last week or so, although we did go to see Santa at this great park that they do up with lights, and lots of toy trains...Abel and Lilly would have nothing to do with Santa when face to face. So funny since they were both all talk all week long leading up to this. Then when the moment arrived it wasn't easy.
